I want to go to Jeju Island, one of the most famous Korean islands in the world. It is a popular tourist spot with unique attractions. Romantic sunrises and sunsets, warm climates and beautiful sandy beaches make Jeju a popular honeymoon destination. Adventurers can hike to Lake Baek Nok at the top of Mt. Halla, the highest peak in South Korea. Notice the female diver "Ama" who collects fresh seafood and the iconic "Grandpa Statue" displayed outside many restaurants.
South Korea has three major rivers: Han, Kum and Nak Tong. I
would like to go to the Han River, but I have never seen a river in my life, so
I think the Han River is a suitable first river to visit.
The Han River is a major river that runs 514 kilometers (319 miles) through
the center of Seoul, dividing Seoul into the north and south halves. The river
that flows from east to west and connects to the Yellow Sea (West Sea) is
formed by the confluence of the Namhan and Northern Han rivers. The river
divides Seoul into two sections. Most historic sites, including palaces and old
traditional markets, are in the north, and new parts of the city, including
Gangnam, are in the south. During the summer, tens of thousands of metropolitan
residents flee to the Han River and its many riverside parks to enjoy riverside
activities. Those who want to go to the water can swim, sail, windsurf, water
ski and fish. Along the banks of the river, visitors can enjoy an almost
endless selection of trails perfect for walking, jogging and inline skating.
Many of these trails are lined with large trees and grass and offer stunning
views of the city. The banks of the Han River are perfect spots for picnics and
dates while watching the bright sunset over the city. Banura Bridge, the venue
for the Moonlight Rainbow Show, is a beam bridge over the Han River that connects
Seocho-gu and Yongsan-gu. The real reason people come here is to see the
falling water, light, and music of the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain
Show.
